FAITH BATTLES ANGELUS - Angelus (David Boreanaz) continues his search for The Beast’s mysterious master, never suspecting that it could be someone close to him. Meanwhile, Faith (guest star Eliza Dushku) and Angelus do battle while Cordelia (Charisma Carpenter) convinces Connor (Vincent Kartheiser) to keep their baby a secret. Alexis Denisof, J. August Richards, Amy Acker and Andy Hallett also star. James A. Contner directed the episode written by Steven S. DeKnight & Elizabeth Craft & Sarah Fain

- Wesley takes Faith back to his apartment. She is badly beaten, bruised and angry. As she's taking a shower, she screams and punches a hole in the wall.

- Wes and Faith go back to the hotel, just as Angelus is leaving after he tries to get some more information on the Beast's Master. Angelus grabs Wes, Faith and Gunn try to shot him with tranquilizer guns.

- Wes and Faith head out to look for Angelus. They end up at a demon bar, and interrogate a Froctor demon, Faith repeatedly slamming his head against a table. He finally tells them that Angel "slipped in the back". (The back room is a shooting gallery for vamps. Wes exposits that the drug is Ladurim, and needs to be filtered through a human host.)

- They enter the back section of the bar, where they are jumped by a bunch of drugged-out vamps. Faith and Wes fight them, then rescue a drugged, non-vamped girl. Faith interrogates her, but the girl says she doesn't know anything. Faith believes her. But Wes pulls out a dagger and stabs the girl in the shoulder, pinning her to the wall. She gives up information about Angelus.

- Wes pulls the dagger out, and Faith helps the girl. Asks Wesley if he's lost it. Wes tells her he did what she wasn't able to do. He calls her a rabid dog and reminds her of what she did to him. Faith slams him up against a wall, but Wes was only trying to get her angry enough to face off against Angelus.

- On Lorne's information, Wes and Faith find Angelus at a shop. They fight. Angelus torments Faith, questioning her if she still wants to die. He tells her that it wouldn't make any difference if he did beat her to death, and calls her an animal and a murderer. As they fight, he continues taunting her, telling her she enjoys killing things - like he does. Faith fights back and ferociously attacks him. It looks like Faith has him beat, but she backs off instead of dusting him, saying that she's not like him. But it was all an act and Angelus wasn't hurt. He pins her down, tells her she will be just like him. The episode ends on him biting her.
