No new info either way on the new movie. Sorry. :)
Upcoming Movies reports that 'City by the Sea' has been pushed back again, to a new release date of April 26th, 2002. This was done to make room for 'Collateral Damage,' the Schwarzenegger movie that was pulled from a September release this year due to sensitive material.
Also, for fans outside of the US who still haven't seen 'Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back' (the New Zealand release date of J&SBSB has now been pushed back until March 2002) it's a good idea to keep an eye on News Askew for any news on possible preview or festival screenings. Fans in Sydney, Australia can get a peek at the movie next Wednesday at Hoyts Fox Studios, two months ahead of the theatrical release date on January 31. Tickets available from any King's Comics stores.
From Little Willow of edushku.com: the December issue of Cosmo features a small interview with Eliza, in the 'Hottest Chicks in Hollywood' article. It has a funny story about her kissing David Boreanaz in a scene.
More Buffy and Angel musings... this is from a chat that Marti Noxon (executive producer of 'Buffy') conducted on the BBC website a few days ago:
Host: Are there any other spin-offs you’d particularly like to see?
MN: Only a sit-com. The ex-friends of the Slayer sitcom. I think I’d love to see a Faith show. I’d love to see her in her own show.Jeremy: Do you think you’d be able to get Eliza Dushku back again?
MN: I think it’s unlikely. But this is my fantasy series right?
David Boreanaz also conducted an online chat with AOL a few days ago and someone asked him whether Faith would be on 'Angel' this season:
HOST: Any chance Faith is going to be in there?
DAVID: You never know. She's locked up in a cell so you know where to find her.HOST: Next question, hi, first off, I'd like to say I love the show and I was wondering if you have a favourite co-star to work with past or present?
DAVID: The first that comes to mind is Eliza. She was a lot of fun. Elisabeth Rohm was great to work with. There's always something in every one of them. I've enjoyed all of them really.
Lastly, this is a bit from a recent Ted Casablanca's gossip column on E! Online:
Also keeping the boys a bit at bay was sultry siren Eliza Dushku, getting down at the Second Annual Cyrano Halloween party (hosted by the same funky folks who do Talent at the Lounge). Hell-Ay. The brunette bombshell was oh so pimped-out in her curvaceous costume. Black short-short skirt, matching bikini top, white fur coat and top hat made more than an impression on the jaw-dropped dudes in the hip hang. Surrounded by some heavenly hons, the Bring It On babe strutted her ample stuff on the dance floor, making quite the scene with one of her fox-ay friends.
Next update after November 20.

Rumours about casting for this movie have started to leak out and I'm not going to be online for awhile after today, so I thought I'd mention it now...
Eliza's close to signing for a new movie. And it's not one that's been mentioned before. Keep an eye on sources like Ain't It Cool News, because it'll most likely pop up someplace like that first. Or Variety, for an official trade paper. I'll let you know when more info becomes available (or if I'm allowed to say more :) ) but keep in mind that final negotiations are still being hammered out, so things may change in the meanwhile. And I'll let you know if I fall flat on my face. :)
For those who get FX, the Faith episodes of 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' (from 'Faith, Hope and Trick' onwards) will begin airing in syndication today. The FX website has the full schedule available. [ website ]
And from the Everlasting Eliza email list: Eliza is featured in the January issue of YM, with a one-page article on the make-up she uses.
Also, 'Soul Survivors' is scheduled to be out on VHS and DVD next February. Upcoming Movies reports that there will be a "R-rated version, for some violence, sexuality and language called The Unburied Cut, released to video."
I'll try to make sporadic updates, but I won't really be back online until November 20th. After that, I should have time to get the site back in order (and decide definitely whether or not I want to keep it running.)
