Fans, Pics and Numbers

Many thanks to Mark for his screencaps of "The Late Late Show," "The Tonight Show" and "Late World with Zack" for those who haven't yet seen Eliza's recent appearances on tv:

Many thanks to Cathy for sending in her photos again, but at a higher resolution. They're from Eliza's appearance at the Great Lakes Crossing Mall in Detroit. You can visit Cathy's gaming site here.

And many thanks to Citlalli for her report on meeting Eliza at "The New Guy" premiere (and about getting in to go see the movie!) You can visit Citlalli's site here but she's also been kind enough to let me post her photos on this site. fan testimonials ]

There are four new pics up at WireImage of Eliza at the "Frankie B. Fashion Show & Event at Lake Hollywood Park." photos ]

Little mini-interview with Eliza up at Fanboy Planet where she clears up some internet rumours. website ]

Me: What can you tell us about True Lies 2?
Eliza Dushku: I can tell you a whole lot of nothing. I've heard a lot of rumors, but I haven't seen anything with my own eyes.

Me: Would you expect to be asked back for the sequel?
Her: I wouldn't expect to be. I would be thrilled if I were asked back as long as Dana is joining the family business. I want in on the action.

Me: What about the rumors that you'll play Wonder Woman in the movie?
Her: Total rumor.

Me: Where did that rumor start?
Her: Probably some internet guy.

Well, far be it from us at Fanboy Planet to start such rumors up again, but you know, it wouldn't be a bad idea. Although by the time Warner Brothers made a decision, Dushku would be 40.

And there was a positive review of the 'City by the Sea' script up at Dark Horizons a few days ago, that mentions how the character of Gina is involved in the story. review ]

'The New Guy' grossed $9,007,883 at the box office over the weekend (final numbers were lower than the estimate, as estimates were based on Friday and Saturday's actuals with an extrapolation for Sunday.) But it took in $548,107 on Monday to bring total earnings to over $9.5M. A Columbia spokesman was quoted by Reuters as saying that the movie "would be profitable since it cost only $13 million to produce." Shut up, I'm a commerce chick.

And I'm sorry that the site's looking really messy at the moment. I've been posting and running as I've been stressed and swamped in real life (and this design was never meant to be permanent.) I've got some breathing room at the moment, so hopefully I'll get the chance to tidy everything up.
