Craig Kilborn, Pure Oxygen and More...

Many thanks to Jessica C: Access Hollywood will be running the "City by the Sea" trailer today (May 9.) Jessica says that there was a quick shot of Eliza in the preview, so it seems like she'll appear in this version. Check out someplace like Yahoo! TV to find when it'll air in your area. access hollywood ]

I just checked the "City by the Sea" website, and it seems like there's a longer version of the trailer posted there. website ]

According to TV Guide Online, Eliza will be on "The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn" this Friday. (It's ostensibly Friday's show, but will air at 12:35am, Saturday in some places. Check your local guides. :) ) the late late show ]

Also, for those who get The Oxygen Network, Eliza and DJ Qualls will be guests on "Pure Oxygen" sometime this week. Here's the blurb from the website: pure oxygen ]

Eliza Dushku & DJ Qualls
Two stars from The New Guy stop by to talk about their new movie. Eliza was last seen in the movie Bring it On with Kirsten Dunst, and DJ is best known for his breakout role in the surprise hit Road Trip.

Finally, there's a pretty nice review of "The New Guy" up at Ain't It Cool News by "Dorothy Parker":

This is a damned good comedy--I laughed from start to finish and was happy the whole ride. It's parading as a teen flick, but I'll stick by my comparison to the writing of the Simpsons. Sure, it's a screwball comedy and it'll appeal to teenagers, but the better part of the humor is aimed at 25-35 yr olds. It's as dense with gags as Airplane but faster paced. It has the same joie de vivre, root-for-the-underdog flavor as Caveman, and unlike a lot of the sucessful comedies churned out lately, it doesn't rely on self-reference or pure parody of other films for its humor. This is a fun, fun ride with nary a mean-spirited bone in its body, and I think writer David Kendall should be proud. Besides that, it pays homage to James Brown, and that's like greasing angels palms to get into Heaven--if you got it, baby, you better use it! review ]

And just out of (my) interest, Eliza moves into the Top 20 at the Yahoo! Buzz: Actors and Actresses list.
