'The Kiss' News
A reminder that 'The Kiss' will premiere at the Boston Film Festival tomorrow (it will also be shown again on Sunday, and at the San Diego Film Festival on the 20th and 21st.)
Gorman Bechard has also updated his website with news about the film: As many of you know, last summer (the summer of 2002) I directed a feature film called THE KISS. It was a romantic comedy based on an original screenplay written by myself and long time friend, Stephen Manzi. The film stars Eliza Dushku, Terence Stamp, Illeana Douglas, and Steve Gilborn, among others.
The film that's about to premiere at film festivals bears very little resemblance to the "director's cut" I turned in on August 30, 2002. VERY little. The tone, the comedy, the pacing...the music.
(For more details, check out 'The Kiss' page under Films - there's also a great sample of the opening theme by Eric Bachmann playing in the background, so keep your speakers on.)
Teen Vogue and TV Guide Pics
Many thanks to Bends for posting the scans on the message board: pictures of Eliza in Teen Vogue and in the TV Guide Fall Preview has been added to the gallery.

Official 'Tru Calling' Website
Fox has put up an excellent official website for Tru Calling. There's a lot of new photos in the "profiles" section, as well as behind-the-scenes videos under "features". Be sure to check it out, and post on the message board to show your support for the show.
Eliza Media Round-Up
Eliza was interviewed by E! News Live on Friday, about 'Tru Calling' and her Entertainment Weekly photo shoot. Tru-Davies.com has video files of the clip. Nick at the Alyson Hannigan Corner has also posted some recent Eliza/Tru Calling related magazine scans on his Eliza page.
And part of an article from Kevin D. Thompson of the Cox News Service:
That's why during my recent three-week stay in Hollywood for the TV Press Tour, I decided to ask a variety of stars to talk about something other than their show.
Here's the question: Which classic TV sitcom would you have loved to have been on and why?
Eliza Dushku ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer"): "I'd like to made into a cartoon on 'The Simpsons.' It's soooo silly and soooo smart."
Site Admin: Lack of Communication
I've gotten a lot of emails and other forms of personal communication recently, that I need to answer. I'll get around to it in the next few weeks - I know it habitually takes me 2 years to answer an email, but things are even more hectic at the moment. I need to wait for my real life to calm down, before tackling anything online. This could also affect site updates in the next few days.
I did changed the template for eliza-dushku.com, but only because I had a bad day yesterday and I came home to sulk rather than doing anything productive.

'The Kiss' at the San Diego Film Festival
Many thanks to Gorman Bechard for the news: 'The Kiss' will also be showing at the San Diego Film Festival on September 20 and September 21, in addition to its premiere in Boston on September 13.
Eliza has a fairly substantial role as Megan, the best friend of the main female character. And I get the impression that Eliza fans might like the type of character that she plays. I've read the script and I really enjoyed it - I think it would have a fair bit of popular appeal. If you're in the area when it's playing at a film festival, I really recommend checking it out.
New 'Tru Calling' Promo Photo
I've uploaded the latest 'Tru Calling' promotional photo to the gallery, courtesy of Ksbnet on the Fanforum. Also, I moved Tru Alliance to it's own domain name at trualliance.com (and to another server.) I've been posting new articles, downloads and photos, but I'll be making a substantial update either today or tomorrow.
Buffy Video Game
I meant to add this on the release date, but I've been so busy it's slipped my mind: the video game 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds' was released on August 26. Eliza did voicework for the character of Faith. More information can be found at buffygame.com.
