Buffy Screencaps, Promo, Article
Eliza's second 'Buffy' episode airs tonight on UPN. 'Empty Places' is the beginning of the uninterrupted stretch of episodes that will take them through to the end of the season, and the series. I've uploaded 400+ screencaps from the 'Empty Places' wildfeed, courtesy of the posters on alt.multimedia.binaries.buffy-v-slayer
I've also uploaded the promo for Buffy 7.20, that aired after tonight's episode. You can download it from here. (The file is 1.8MBs zipped, in avi format - you need the DivX codec to view it.)
Many thanks to st1cky: there's an article on the New York Post with Marti Noxon talking about Faith's fashion.
More Buzz for 'True Calling'
This article from the Hollywood Reporter, particularly singles out 'True Calling' as the drama pilot that's getting good buzz at FOX: For drama, one show making some noise is "True Calling," starring Eliza Dushku as a grad student who goes back in time to relive a day to prevent tragedies.
'Wrong Turn' Publicity Stills
Yahoo! Movies has posted a few publicity stills from 'Wrong Turn,' including a new picture of Eliza with Desmond Harrington.
Also, be sure to check out Wrong Turn Hype, a website created by fans to help hype the movie.

Pilot Script Review on AICN
Dr. Faustians posted a review of all the pilot scripts for next season on Ain't It Cool News. In his opinion, 'True Calling' should be one of the three drama pilots that FOX picks up: "True Calling" is probably one of the worst titles this season - even "Heroine" was a better one. Let's hope they change it to something better as the show really kicks ass in my eyes. This show is in some ways Fox's take on "Alias" with a strong female character who discovers she has the ability to go back in time for 24 hours at a stretch and save people's lives. Eliza Dushku is also perfect as the heroine Tru. This is a keeper...
FOX will announce their fall line-up on May 15.

Wrong Turn News
Many thanks to Faith_Fan: a copy of the official poster for 'Wrong Turn' is available for sale on eBay.
There's a clearer look at the poster at JoBlo.
Entertainment Weekly's "Summer Movie Preview" is currently on sale, and they have a brief description of 'Wrong Turn' in the issue: Wrong Turn
A group of pretty young things (among them Jeremy Sisto and Eliza Dushku) make the titular directional error in the West Virginia wilderness, where they're soon set upon by--you guessed it--cannibalistic mountain men disfigured through years of in-breeding. (May 30)
This pic of Eliza and Emmanuelle Chriqui accompanies the blurb:
Many thanks again to Charles: he's scanned a bigger version of the pic on the message board.
Fangoria will be doing a feature on 'Wrong Turn' in their next issue. The issue will be on sale May 20. ONE "WRONG TURN" ... leads Eliza Dushku and friends to a confrontation with backwoods killers.
Lastly, site news? My computer broke down again the weekend before Easter, and we had to reformat my hard drive to get it working. My brother with the CD burner refuses to back up my Windows directory, and so all my emails have been deleted. If you have a pressing question that I haven't responded to yet, please feel free to email me again.
Eliza at DuPars Video
Many thanks to Charles: Charles made a video recording of Eliza at the D.E.N. fundraiser that can be downloaded from here (4.7MBs, in Windows Media format.)

Eliza Fan Accounts
Several members of our message board got to meet Eliza on Sunday night at a fundraising function for D.E.N (the Developing Entertainment Network - a theatre group founded by Nate and a friend.) You can check out their reports and photos here.

Femme Fatales Article
Many thanks again to Matt: he posted the Eliza article from Femme Fatales on the message board (scroll down to the bottom of the page.) It's a good read for Eliza's take on why she decided to go with the FOX pilot, and a must buy for any Eliza fan.

Buffy Bits
UPN put out a press release on the final five episodes of 'Buffy'. It states that the show "will conclude its seventh and final season with five all-new episodes beginning Tuesday, April 15 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on UPN. The remaining four one-hour episodes will air on April 29, May 6 and May 13 with the series' last ever original program on May 20."
According to this spoilery casting information on Filmjerk, filming for the last ever episode began on April 7. Other spoiler sources indicate that they're still filming. (Warning, the links contain spoilers for the final episode of Buffy.)
Dave Mason of the Scripps Howard News Service spoke to Marti Noxon about a spinoff, and she confirms that one won't happen right away. He also states: One front-runner for a spinoff, a series about Faith, wasn't possible for this fall because Eliza Dushku, who plays the vampire slayer, is starring in a pilot for Fox. But if Fox decides in May not to pick up her series, she might become available again for a "Buffy" spinoff.
A "Faith" spinoff would likely succeed with fans, but I also would like to see a spinoff about witch Willow (Alyson Hannigan).
I've uploaded a copy of the promo for Buffy 7.18 (3mbs, zipped .avi file) on the multimedia site. (Many thanks - for so many things - to the posters of alt.binaries.multimedia.buffy-v-slayer) Comics Continuum also has two more screenshots of Faith from Buffy 7.18
Finally, I'm sorry for the lack of updates recently. Same old story, as it's been for the past two years... once semester starts, I have zero free time. And a stupid cold I can't seem to get rid of. I hope to have a quick update on eliza-dushku.com tonight (with a more comprehensive update once school breaks the week after next.)
New 'Wrong Turn' Release Date
Fangoria first broke the news that the release date for 'Wrong Turn' has been moved up five months to May 30. According to the MPAA database, it'll be "rated R for strong violence and gore, some language and drug use."
Many thanks to Ken D.: 20th Century Fox will begin the TV and poster campaign for 'Wrong Turn' in the next two weeks.
Title of FOX Pilot
Many thanks to Faith_Fan: according to the FOX Television Distribution website, Eliza's pilot will now be titled 'True Calling'. Canadian actress Brenda Campbell will have a recurring role on the show (if it gets picked up.)
Filming for the pilot finished in Vancouver on March 25.
Femme Fatales Magazine
Many thanks to Matt and cheebs: the current May/June 2003 issue of Femme Fatales has a feature on Eliza and the women of 'Angel'. A scan of the pic has been posted on the message board.
On the website, there's also an old Cinefantastique interview with Joss Whedon where he talks more about Faith's place in the Buffyverse, and the circumstances leading up to Eliza's return.
