'Tru Calling' Picked Up for Full Season
Quick update: Fox has picked up 'Tru Calling' for the full season. From The Hollywood Reporter:

Fox Broadcasting Co. has picked up seven additional episodes of its freshman drama "Tru Calling," starring Eliza Dushku. The network also has given a fast-track pilot order to another drama prospect, "Ricochet."

The back order for "Tru Calling" brings to 20 the number of segments the network has picked up for the 20th Century Fox TV/Original TV show. The batch of episodes, two short of the standard 22-episode order for a drama series, will run through the end of the season, which for Fox is abbreviated because of postseason baseball coverage in the fall.

"Tru Calling," a reality-bending vehicle centering on a recent college graduate who works the night shift at the city morgue, was assigned the tough Thursday 8 p.m. slot. In its most recent airing, the show averaged 3.8 million viewers and a 1.5 rating/4 share in adults 18-49.

New Message Board, Admin Stuff
My webhost is installing phpsuexec on this server today. I'm not sure if this will have any visible effect on the site, or if changes will just have to be made on my end. But I apologise in advance if eliza-dushku.com or news.eliza-dushku.com is down for a few hours.

Because of this, I've also moved the message boards to a new server. They can now be found at http://messageboard.eliza-net.com. However, old posts and registrations won't be transferred. But I'll be keeping the old board available as a reference.

I still have finals for another week (longest f'n finals ever) updates will resume as normal after that.

Eliza on 'Late Night with Conan O'Brien'
Many thanks to Tash: Eliza will be on Late Night with Conan O'Brien again, Wednesday, November 19. According to Interbridge, Elvis Costello is the other guest, so this isn't a repeat of her last appearance.

I'm still in the midst of finals, so I apologise again for the lack of site updates and replies to emails.

Tru Calling Insider Report
I posted this on Tru Alliance but I thought I might post it here too...

I received an email from my 'insider sources' at "Tru Calling" after the premiere last week, and even back then, I was told to "expect the show to improve by the third episode." So if you haven't been overwhelmed by the two episodes so far, please keep hanging in there and give the show a few more chances to find its feet. If you have enjoyed the last two episodes, it's only going to get better - keep watching and encourage your friends to watch as well. Especially those with Nielsen boxes!
